Do you design the connections or detail them?
Both are possible. We can detail connections designed by your engineer, or prepare connection design calculations to AS 4100 for your engineer to review and certify.
What kind of steel projects do you take on?
Commercial and industrial buildings, portal frames, platforms and stairs, and telecommunication towers and supports.
How does the time difference work in practice?
Our team is based in Bolivia (UTC-4). Our working day runs while Australia and New Zealand are asleep, so a brief you send at the end of your day can come back as drawings or calculations the next morning. We also keep an overlap window early in your morning for calls and markups.
Who signs off and certifies the design?
Your firm does. We work as an extension of your team: we prepare calculations, models and drawings to the standards you specify, and your registered or chartered engineer reviews and certifies them. That keeps registration, insurance and client relationships with you.
